Installing my brushes into Procreate isn't working...
Because Procreate doesn't have the most streamlined process for importing the files, our customers often find themselves hitting the same road blocks... here are a few common mistakes that might solve your problem...
1. Do NOT use the "Import" button on Procreate
I know, it literally says "Import"... of course it would be logical to use it, but unfortunately that is only for importing images to edit in the Procreate, not for Procreate tools.
Instead, open up the downloaded files straight from your "Files" app or browser.
2. I keep clicking the file but nothing happens.
When brush sets and color palettes are added into Procreate, you should see Procreate open and for a split second you might see a "Importing" notification pop up (sometimes it's such a small file, you won't even see the importation notification at all!).
They don't give you any other confirmation, so it often feels like it wasn't successful, but 99% of time it has been installed.
Here's where you'll find your brushes after you install:
1. Create a new document inside Procreate using the + in top right corner.
- For Brush Sets, click the Brush icon, you should see the brush folders you downloaded at the top of the menu of the most recently installed brush set.
- For Color Palettes, click the Colored Circle in the top right corner, then click "Palettes" at the bottom of that menu, your color palette should be there.
